Must be: Local or foreign civil engineer with masters in Health and Safety
Common duties include: Perform skilled work: A superintendent is expected to perform skilled work in their trade or craft. Read and interpret blueprints: A superintendent should be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to their trade. Maintain safety standards: master of health and safety is crucial for a superintendent. They must ensure all the employees follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure that they and their coworkers remain safe on the job. Troubleshoot problems: A superintendent should be able to identify and troubleshoot problems related to their trade. They should have the ability to diagnose and fix issues quickly and efficiently. Supervisors with team members: A superintendent will supervise a team, so they must be able to communicate effectively with their coworkers and work collaboratively to complete the job. Use Microsoft Word, Excel, clickup, jira, and Microsoft Project, know agile methodology applied in buildings. A superintendent may be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, tracking inventory, and other administrative tasks. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project can be essential to perform these tasks effectively.
